[Food&Sweets] Chocolate Chip Cookies

After a mega epic fail trying to do chocolate chip cookies last week from a random recipe my friends and I found in the Internet, I remembered my dear book named The Cookie Bible that my mother gave to me. We decided to give it another try...

Try it with us! :D

Note: This recipe mentions the use of Nestlé © chocolate, which I will omit because you can use any type of chocolate chips.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate morsels/chips
1 cup chipped nuts

PREHEAT oven at 375 °F

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels/chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets/greased pan.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets/pan for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies
(depending on the size you make your cookies)

The Results...

Like our attempt of doing a cookie tower? xDDDD

I was trying to eat them and my friend kept hitting my hand to stop me from destroying the tower. *sigh* Yeah, we're long gone crazy xD

Anyways, I feel proud that we got to bake such amazing-tasking cookies without the help of an adult...all by ourselves. They came up WAY better than the last time. They were so gross that I didn't even took a photo.

So, what are you still doing here?

Go! Have fun baking these cookies by yourself, with friends or parents ^^
